Palm Jumeirah
A wonderful palm shaped artificial island which stretches human imagination to its limits. Plam jumeirah is the first and the smallest of the three islands called The Palm Islands. These islands, created through land reclamation in the sea, will increase Dubai’s shoreline by a total of 520 km. Parts have been finished, but there is still so much more being built The branches of the Palm cannot be entered as they are guarded by security personnel, but you can drive through the tunnel to the new huge Atlantis hotel and to the top of the Palm.

Burj Dubai
Burj Dubai is a shining accomplishment and a tangible proof of Dubai’s central role in a growing world. it is not only the world’s highest building, but also embodies world’s highest inspirations. Despite being under construction and incomplete, the skyscraper is still the world’s tallest man-made structure ever built. As of September 1, 2008, Burj Dubai had reached a height of 688 m (2,257 ft), with 160 completed floors, becoming the tallest man-made structure of any kind.
Jumeirah Beach Park
Highly recommended by all who have been there. With a meagre 5dhms entrance fee, the place has a lot to offer. Sunbeds are available to hire for 15dhms, umbrellas for 5dhms. The beach is clean with white sands and crystal blue waters. It is not too busy except for the weekends. The lawns in the park are immaculate and are used in the evenings by families getting together for a barbeque. The cafe on the beach sells fast food, salads, beverages and desserts at very reasonable prices.
Mall of the Emirates
Mall of the Emirates is and will remain the largest shopping mall in the Middle East until Dubai Mall and Mall of Arabia take the top spots upon completion in early 2009. It contains approximately 2,400,000 square feet (223,000 m2) of shops with the entire mall forming a total of approximately 6.5 million square feet. Mall of the Emirates features a typical variety of stores in addition to a fourteen-screen movie theater, gaming arena, and a dramatic theatre. However, its biggest claim to fame is the Middle East's first indoor ski slope, Ski Dubai, which is also one of the largest in the world.
Wild Wadi Water Park
The Wild Wadi, a water theme park situated in Jumeirah, is the perfect fun place for the entire family. Deira City Centre Shopping Mall
Prior to the establishment of Ibn Battuta Mall and Mall of the Emirates, Deira City Centre was Dubai’s largest mall. It is a shopping, entertainment and leisure complex with 2 levels covering over 1.2 million sq. ft. of retail selling space housing over 300 shops and 6,000 free car-parking spaces. Some main features of Deira City Centre include an 11-screen Cinestar Cinemas, Lexus and Toyota showrooms, 11-storey office tower, Magic Planet (leisure area for kids), and the Sofitel City Centre Hotel . Ibn Battuta Mall
Named after the famous explorer and traveler, Ibn Batuta Mall is one of Dubai’s largest shopping malls.
