Dubai’s hotel industry is one of the world’s biggest in the sector. The city is home to a vast array of hotels ranging from highly opulent and expensive hotels costing as much as 11,000 Dhs for one night’s stay, to more basic and affordable ones with as low a price tag as 100 Dhs per night. There are dozens of 5 star, 4 star and 3 star hotels dotted around the city available for rent from one day to the whole year and longer.

Here’s is a brief list of some of the main hotels in Dubai:
Burj Al Arab
Burj Al Arab has many superlatives attached to it: the most opulent and luxurious, the most expensive, and the tallest hotel of the world. The hotel is an architectural masterpiece resembling a billowing sail and standing 321 metres high on a one-of-a-kind man made island. Dining at Burj Al Arab is not possible without reservation. Staying guests are looked after by a host of butlers.
Emirates Towers Hotel
With its newly awarded title of ‘Best Business Hotel in the Middle East’, this hotel also ranks among the finest in Dubai. Standing 305 metres high with 51 floors and 400 rooms, Emirates Towers is the third tallest hotel in the world. Decent and sophisticated, the hotel tower is twinned by a 355m high office tower. Between the two buildings is situated the Boulevard shopping mall providing an assortment of top-end shops, restaurants and bars.
Grand Hyatt Dubai
Stretched over a whopping 31 acres of landscaped grounds, this ‘city resort’ comprises 674 spacious and high tech rooms. Some of the salient features of the hotel include 13 restaurants, health spa, fitness centre, several cafés and bars, and one of Dubai’s most popular nightclubs, The Mix.
Hilton Dubai Creek
This elegant hotel, designed by Carlos Ott with an ultra-minimalist approach, features interiors of wood, glass and chrome. Located in Dubai’s centre overlooking the creek, the hotel provides splendid vies of the Arabian dhow training posts. With 154 rooms and high quality service, the hotel features two of the city’s most renowned restaurants, and the only Gordon Ramsay restaurant outside the UK.
Ritz-Carlton, Dubai
flashing a stunning Mediterranean architecture, the Ritz features 138 guest rooms with private balconies and patios, and a beautiful view of the Gulf. One of the popular venues of Ritz is Lobby Lounge famous for old-fashioned English high tea in its posh yet comfy settings.
