The community is built by Union properties the houses and apartments are sold on a 90 years leasehold. The Green is the ideal choice for people working in the Jebel Ali Free Zone. Wide range of accommodation including villas, townhouses and apartments is available. The Green Community is so popular that developer Union Properties has begun construction of new phase-Green Community West, that is almost completed. Rent of four bed room villa is around Dhs 240,000. The Market is Green Community’s new shopping centre As well as a Jewelers, clothes shops and home furnishing outlets there is a pharmacy a florist a dry cleaners a card shop a book shop an optician and a branch of Ace. It is also home to a Choitram Supermarket and off course Ibne Battuta is not far away Marriott’ courtyard and the neighboring market are some of the main attractions for dining out with plenty of coffee shops, good restaurants and places for a good bite with licensed outlets in hotel. Emirate Hills, Jebel Ali and Arabian ranches provide excellent courses for golf lovers. The Green Community Medical centre in the Market is private clinic with full time doctors and visiting specialists. The nearby government run clinic is at Jebel Ali. For emergencies the Cedar Hospital within the Jebel Ali Free Zone is nearest. For government accident & emergency Rashid Hospital is the nearest possible but it is a bit far. New primary school The Children Garden offers a bilingual program in English/German or English/French. There are several primary and secondary schools close by in Emirates Hills and Jebel Ali. Traffic inside the community is not a problem and parking is sufficient. The biggest annoyance is that there’s only one main road the E 311 Emirates Road connecting the Green Community to Jebel Ali and the rest of Dubai This road is often gets congested with trucks that come to a standstill in the nearside lane. The taxi fare to Trade Centre is Dhs 65 and up to Dhs 100 to the AirPort The Green community is an excellent choice for families, as the guarded complex is very safe. New phase construction may produce some noise and extra traffic but most of the developed properties are far enough away to keep this a safe place for kids.
