Arabian RanchesArabian Ranches is one of Emaar’s many residential developments; it is located away from the centre of Dubai, off the Emirates Road near Dubai Autodrome. The project consists of villas built amid lush greenery, lakes and the Arabian Ranches Golf Course with a range of comfort facilities that all make up a very fine living. Though it is at a distance from the city centre but still it is a 15 minutes drive from shopping and dinning options.
Where to Stay
Arabian Ranches consisted of villas of a variety of sizes from two bedrooms to four bedrooms, for which you won’t get much change from Dhs. 270,000. Telephone, internet and TV services are provided by du.
Where to shop
The village community centre is located on the estate housing Le Marche supermarket, a chemist, bookshop, pet shop, laundry bank, ATM, a liquor store a DVD rental machine and quite a lot of cafes, restaurants and fast food outlets, most of which do home delivery
Fun & Leisure
There are several pools, basketball hoops, tennis courts, BBQ pits and grassy areas. The shopping centre has a good variety of cafes and restaurants, many of which provide take away and home delivery facilities. There is also The Arabian Ranches Golf Course an 18 hole golf course with a pro shop club house and a Ranches restaurant and Bar offering views out over the golf course from their terrace. The Autodrome and Dubai polo and Equestrian Club are nearby and offer fun on four wheels or four legs
Hospitals & Clinics
Nearest medical centres are in Umm Suqeim (government) or Al Barsha because there is no local medical facility, The nearest hospitals are in the Oud Metha/ Umm Hurair area of Bur Dubai.
Where to study
Jumeirah English Speaking School is located next to the shopping centre, there other than that no choice is present at the moment. However it is not too far to Al Barsha and Emirates Hills for the schools and nurseries there.
Traffic and Parking
Traffic is generally not problematic at the moment, although it would get heavier as more people settle in. Construction trucks and speed bumps slow the traffic somewhat. Main access road to the area is the Emirates Road, which can be a bit busier and congested at times.
Safety and Annoyances
Lighting on most streets is poor and construction is still going on . Security is good quality, with guards at the entrance to each estate.
